Interface I

Non-formal experience, voluntary activity, cultural  diversity, peace and human rights - these are the key subjects of the project  Interface I. But this is the very theoretical description of the objectives of Interface I. Practical spoken: Interface I is a Youth Exchange  Program; it gives young Europeans the chance to live and work six months  abraod. They have the possibility to know more about different cultures and  traditions, to gain work experience in a Non-European country, to improve their  languages skills and their flexibility.

The sending organisations are bbjshare.it and Eurocultura in  Italy, Eurocircle in France and LIFE in Germany. The partners and host  organizations are the Cambodian NGOs, Youth for Peace, Khmer Youth and Social  Development, Youth Research Development and bbjshare.it.

Interface is a pilot project in the classical sense of  the term, experimenting and attempting to integrate young people in the  international cooperation within a budding and developing context.

In the second phase, an additional project will be presented,  applying for the hosting of Cambodian young people in Europe. The partcipants  will be recruited among the young people actively inolved in the participation  in the pilot project presented here.

If these two phases are successfull we would like to  integrate new associations from Vietnam and Laos in these youth exchange  activities - not only to create more possibilities for the young people but also  to develop a sustainable network of relations between the Youth of Europe and  South-East Asia.

Interface I is financed by the European Union, ”Youth in Action”  -  Action 2 - European Voluntary Service (EVS).
